WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
TUESDAY MORNING...

Snow expected. Snow accumulating tonight to around 2 inches tonight. Heavy mixed precipitation possible from Monday afternoon into Tuesday. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches and ice accumulations of one tenth of an inch are possible.

The Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 7 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Monday. A brief break in snow will occur in the morning and early afternoon.

Ephrata Pioneer Fire Company

Due to an issue with a transformer there is a large power outage in the area including several intersections that are now without traffic signals.
Fire police are directing in the area and Ephrata Borough Electric is working to restore power.

Yea we have none on Duke n I have my 84 year old mother

My mom was without power too but for like an hour. I can’t imagine if some were out for any longer with some of these comments. Always be prepared. We have other resources in town that can be used with power.
